So how many days can the pregnancy be detected?

Many women hope to find out whether they are pregnant as early as possible, so many women don’t know how many days it takes to detect conception. Also, do women have any signs of pregnancy after conception?

How many days does it take to detect pregnancy?

According to scientific data, pregnancy can be detected when a woman is about 8-10 days pregnant. The simplest and most effective way to test whether you are pregnant is to use a test strip test. The way it is tested is very simple. Women can find out whether they are pregnant by testing their urine at home. If they are pregnant, a specific hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), can be detected in the urine of pregnant women from the 7th to 10th day of pregnancy. Early pregnancy test strips are used to test this substance.

Early pregnancy test: Collect urine (first morning urine is preferred), insert the test strip, and observe the result within 5 minutes. Convenient, fast and accurate.

Basal body temperature measurement: Some women measure their body temperature every morning after waking up for contraception or to get pregnant due to infertility. The temperature at this time is called basal body temperature. Generally, the body temperature before ovulation is below 36.5 degrees. After ovulation, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.5 degrees and lasts for 12-16 days, with an average of 14 days. If the high temperature curve of the basal body temperature lasts for more than 18 days, pregnancy can be diagnosed.

Type B ultrasound examination: As early as the 5th week of pregnancy, which is one week after the menstrual period, a round halo in the uterus, also known as the pregnancy ring, can be shown on the Type B ultrasound screen. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Using B-ultrasound to diagnose early pregnancy is the most accurate and reliable method.

Some reactions after pregnancy

Amenorrhea: A healthy woman of childbearing age with regular menstrual cycles has had sexual intercourse without taking effective contraceptive measures. If her menstruation does not come on time and is 10 days or more late, she is very likely pregnant. If menstruation has not stopped for 8 weeks, pregnancy is more likely.

Breast enlargement: From the 8th week of pregnancy, under the influence of increased estrogen and progesterone, the mammary alveoli and lobules proliferate and develop, causing the breasts to gradually enlarge. Pregnant women may experience breast tenderness and nipple pain, which is more obvious in first-time pregnant women. Once a lactating woman becomes pregnant again, her milk secretion will decrease significantly. A careful examination will also reveal that the nipples and surrounding areola become enlarged and darker in color, and nodules appear.

Changes in sense of smell: Certain smells may become unbearable or even unpleasant.

Increased basal body temperature: Basal body temperature can reflect the body's energy metabolism in a resting state. The basal body temperature of women of childbearing age is related to the cyclical changes in ovarian hormones. After ovulation, the body temperature will rise by 0.3-0.5℃ until 1-2 days before menstruation or the first day of menstruation. If the basal body temperature rises but the menstruation is not due, and the basal body temperature continues to remain high for 16 days, the possibility of conception is high. If it lasts for 3 months, you can basically be sure that you are pregnant. You should pay attention to how long it takes to detect the pregnancy.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of how many days it takes to detect conception. Women can also test it half a month after conception. However, generally women find out that they are pregnant about a month later, because women have amenorrhea at this time, so it is easy to detect.
