Will there be a rash during the HIV window period?

During the AIDS window period, the symptoms are generally not obvious. Some patients will experience rashes, which will cause rashes on the skin, causing symptoms such as itching and pain. Other common symptoms include herpetic stomatitis, persistent low-grade fever, common diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and swollen lymph nodes. If you have high-risk sexual behavior and experience similar symptoms, you must go to the hospital for examination in time.

1. Symptoms of rash can be seen during the AIDS window period.

The most common rash during the AIDS window period is lesions on the oral mucosa, which manifests as: oral mucosal Candida infection, which often appears inside the mouth, on a vermilion base, and may spread to deeper parts of the mouth, such as the throat or esophagus, causing severe dysphagia and having a great impact on daily diet. It may also cause recurrent herpetic stomatitis, which continues to recur, and even if it recovers briefly, it will relapse, usually with reactions on the lips and throat.

2. Ulcer stage

In addition to genital warts which are the main reaction of rash during the window period, ulcers are also a reaction that requires special attention, especially local ulcers in the genital area, which require more attention. Generally, ulcers can recover in three to four days. If the ulcer lasts for more than two weeks and general medicines do not have a particularly good recovery effect, you also need to go to the hospital for an HIV test.

3. AIDS Window Period

The rash during the AIDS window period also appears locally on the limbs and is slightly itchy, but not very obvious. It is bean-shaped and arranged in a formation, and will heal automatically after two weeks. It may be an HIV infection.

Some infected people develop clinical symptoms caused by viremia and acute damage to the immune system, similar to influenza or infectious mononucleosis symptoms. Most patients have mild clinical symptoms, which last for 1 to 3 weeks before remission. The most common clinical manifestation is fever, which may be accompanied by sore throat, night sweats, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, joint pain, lymphadenopathy and neurological symptoms. If you experience similar symptoms after engaging in high-risk behavior, you should be careful.
