The extended waiting period for sex is the root cause

In people's impression, children in the past were much simpler and there was rarely any sexual confusion in their education. Similar surveys have been conducted many times in the international cooperation project investigation chaired by Wei Xiujie, and the conclusions are basically consistent with this survey. Modern teenagers have a stronger demand for sexual knowledge, more channels, more open sexual attitudes, and are engaging in sexual behavior at a younger age. She analyzed that the main reason is that the age of sexual maturity of teenagers has been advanced, while the age of marriage has been postponed, so the sexual waiting period (or pre-marital sexual maturity period) has been extended to at least 10 years.

At the same time, increased population mobility, changes in family structure, the emergence of more and more single-parent families, the impact of various sexual cultures, and the diversification of social interest groups have also played a certain role.
