In sexual medicine clinics, cases of male hypersexuality are very common, but there are very few women who come for treatment because of frequent and strong sexual demands that are not met. In fact, in real life, many women suspect their husbands of having affairs because they cannot get sexual satisfaction, or they are absent-minded in daily life and cannot control themselves when sexual desire arises. This kind of sexual excitement occurs too frequently, too quickly, and too intensely, which may be caused by illness. Are women really as fierce as tigers forty? menopause Are women really as strong as tigers at the age of 40? In fact, it is your menopause! In menopausal women, the secretion of ovarian estrogen decreases, and the pituitary gland secretes too much gonadotropin in feedback, resulting in a strange rebound phenomenon and hypersexuality. In addition, menopausal women are prone to manic symptoms, which manifest as unwarranted suspicion that their spouse is having an affair, and sometimes even baselessly suspecting that their husband and a third party are trying to murder them. This mental disorder can cause a decrease in the ability to inhibit sexual excitement. Regardless of gender, more than 60% of people have a tendency to hypersexuality. It's not necessarily a good thing when a beautiful woman throws herself at you. Schizophrenia The disease can lead to decreased sexual desire, but it may also cause hypersexuality in the early stages, especially in patients with paranoid psychosis, due to a decreased ability to inhibit sexual excitement. These patients often have obscene language and engage in endless harassment of the opposite sex. Brain lesions Brain lesions, especially those affecting the sexual centers of the brain or hypothalamus, such as pituitary and gonadal lesions, can lead to an excess of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, causing an increase in gonadotropin, or due to pituitary lesions, excessive secretion of gonadotropin from the anterior lobe, causing an increase in sex hormone secretion and resulting in hypersexuality. This sexual desire caused by abnormal brain discharges can only be resolved through actual sexual behavior, so there have been cases of sexual crimes due to brain diseases. Polycystic ovary syndrome Patients with this disease have strong sexual desire and obvious sexual impulse. The clinical manifestations of this disease include irregular menstruation, obesity, excessive hair growth, acne or seborrheic dermatitis, etc. Examination can reveal that such patients do not ovulate, which can lead to infertility; B-ultrasound can show that there are multiple follicles on the patient's ovaries. The biggest harm of polycystic ovary syndrome is infertility. In addition, it increases the risk of endometrial hyperplasia and cancer, and is also associated with metabolic disorders such as diabetes, abnormal lipid metabolism and cardiovascular disease. Thyroid disease For example, hypersexuality may occur in the early stages of hyperthyroidism. Clinically, it is manifested by hyperexcitement of the high metabolic syndrome group, neurovascular system, etc. Generally, 10% to 20% of patients have symptoms of hypersexuality, especially those with mild hyperthyroidism. |
