Even if it hits the egg, the deformed sperm cannot break through the egg wall to form a fertilized egg.

Varicocele is a temperamental disease. From a physiological and anatomical point of view, patients are born with it, or have the potential for it. It gradually worsens year by year, and there are generally no obvious symptoms. Many people seek medical treatment only when they become infertile after marriage.

Severe varicocele is not effectively treated with medication, so doctors usually encourage patients to undergo surgery, called "varicocele ligation". After surgery, venous blood reflux disappears, testicular function improves by 60% to 70%, sperm quality improves, and fertility is possible.
