The causes of sexual dysfunction are mainly psychological factors

Traditional Chinese families have always avoided talking about sex, which has led to the postponement of sex education, thus causing a certain psychological impact on young people. What are the symptoms of sexual dysfunction? The causes of sexual dysfunction are mainly divided into psychological reasons and organic reasons. The psychological causes of sexual dysfunction are quite complex. This is mostly related to the patient's life experience and living environment. Discuss the causes of new functional disorders from the perspective of psychological and pathological factors.

1. Psychological factors

"Improper" attitude

Sexual anxiety caused by fear of sexual failure may be a common direct cause of impotence or sexual indifference. The other party's inappropriate or excessive demands on sexual ability may also be the fundamental cause of sexual disorders. In addition, another important factor that causes sexual dysfunction is acting as a "bystander", that is, during sexual intercourse, one party is anxious and compulsively paying attention to his or her reaction. This bystander role will distract your attention and hinder the establishment of an appropriate sexual response and the achievement of orgasm.

The experience was "too rough"

Experts believe that internal conflicts, mainly related to past sexual experiences, are a deep-rooted cause of sexual dysfunction. If these contradictions control people's sex life to a certain extent, sexual dysfunction may occur. For example, the unpleasant experience of first sexual contact in childhood, the confusion caused by the failure of the first sexual life, etc.

Suspicion and jealousy

Suspicion and jealousy are often important causes of sexual dysfunction. There are generally two reasons why suspicion and distrust arise between both parties during sex. One is the distrust and uneasiness caused by insufficient understanding; the other is closed-mindedness, not understanding the root causes of things, not communicating, and always judging things according to their own thinking logic. Many jealous husbands have this problem. They always suspect their wives of having affairs. This intense jealousy and suspicion causes them to have sexual dysfunction. The greater the dysfunction, the more they suspect their wives of seeking compensation outside the family, creating a vicious cycle.

There is no need to worry too much about the functional disorders caused by sexual psychological disorders, because there is no organic disease itself. As long as you pay attention to adjusting your mentality and eliminating anxiety, the psychological disorders will disappear and the functional disorders will naturally disappear.

2. Pathological factors

A. Abnormal penis anatomy: short penis, curvature of penis, epispadias, hypospadias, abnormal penis position (penis behind scrotum), penis deformity (double penis), testicular fibrosis. As well as penile trauma, penile fracture, etc.

F. Nervous system diseases: muscle atrophy caused by lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Parkinson's disease, peripheral neuritis, spina bifida, temporal lobe lesions, brain and spinal cord injuries or tumor compression or deformity, etc.

G. Genital diseases: prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, epididymitis, seminal vesiculitis, epididymitis, varicocele, cystectomy, perineum or prostatectomy, corpus cavernosum disease, phimosis, priapism (corpus cavernosum fibrosis), urethritis, etc.

H. Infectious diseases: filariasis, genital tuberculosis, gonorrhea, mumps combined with orchitis, etc.

I. Drugs: drug addiction, alcohol, α-methyldopa, atropine, barbiturates, chlordiazepoxide, cimetidine, guanidine, cannabis leaves, dianbenxin, phenothiazines, propranolol, reserpine, spironolactone, and hydrochlorothiazide.
