Queen Zhou was so angry that she vomited blood on the spot. At this moment, an old palace servant reminded Chongzhen: "Is Concubine Tian the only one without a pair of lovers in her palace? There are indeed some records of eunuchs committing adultery in the palace in history.

In addition to the well-known Lao Ai, the powerful eunuch Wei Zhongxian in the late Ming Dynasty, the wet nurse Keshi of Emperor Xizong of the Ming Dynasty, and An Dehai and Empress Dowager Cixi in the late Qing Dynasty are all more famous examples. Ke Shi, the wife of Hou Er from Dingxing, was selected by the wet nurse's house and sent to the palace at the age of eighteen and became the wet nurse of the later Xizong Zhu Youjian.
