Today, few people would judge a woman's goodness or bad based on her chastity. In fact, it cannot be the standard or basis for judging a person. However, this does not mean that no one cares about a woman's chastity. On the contrary, it seems that the more open today is, the more men value a woman's chastity. Last year, our hospital conducted a survey on this issue, and the results were somewhat surprising. More than 70% of the men surveyed admitted that they had a virgin complex, 60% of the men surveyed hoped that their girlfriends were virgins, and many men said that if their girlfriends were virgins, they might cherish the girl more. Among the women surveyed, most believed that so-called chastity did not mean anything, nor could it be a criterion for judging a person, but they also hoped that if possible, girls should cherish their virginity because it was beautiful.

However, the social atmosphere and moral concepts are like this, and there will be no changes in a short period of time, so men's virgin complex will not disappear. Or on the contrary, because more and more girls nowadays may have lost their virginity before getting married, men may be more proud of having a virgin girlfriend.

In addition to being influenced by traditional concepts, men's virginity complex may also represent a unique psychological characteristic of male animals.

For example, some desire for conquest, some sense of accomplishment and so on. If a man can possess a woman's virginity, he may be more psychologically inclined to protect the woman. The so-called "first time" can also make the emotional relationship between men and women more intimate and stable. Therefore, it is normal for a woman's virginity, which only comes once in her life, to be valued by men. Virginity may represent a stage in a woman's life, but it is not the capital that a woman relies on to attract men. A truly likable woman must possess one or more of the following qualities: kindness, gentleness, beauty, generosity, etc. But for men, a woman's chastity may be given too many standard meanings, and is often associated with a woman's character, style, etc. But in fact, a girl who maintains her chastity does not necessarily have no love experience, and a girl who has no physical signs of chastity does not necessarily have intimate contact with the opposite sex. On the other hand, although hugging and kissing between girls and the opposite sex seem to be normal behaviors and will not leave any marks, they are essentially physical contact between two people. There is no difference between marginal behavior and purposeful behavior, only the methods are different. Therefore, the presence or absence of a hymen does not mean anything, and men’s enthusiasm for this is actually meaningless, it just satisfies a certain expectation hidden in their hearts.

Even today, men's virgin complex still exists, and I believe it will continue to exist in the future, regardless of whether it has practical significance or not. As doctors, we are very clear that this complex actually has no safety basis at all. A very simple operation can restore a girl to her original state, which may cover up a lot of things and only give men a reason to comfort themselves. Therefore, when a man treats his girlfriend, he should pay more attention to her character and lovely qualities, which are far more important than the physical characteristics that will be lost sooner or later. And when a girl treats her boyfriend, she does not need to worry about whether she is a virgin or not. A man who only pays attention to physical marks is not a trustworthy person. The person who truly loves you only loves you, and nothing else.
