How long does it take for women to be satisfied during sex?

Sexual life is sweet and wonderful. Being able to enjoy orgasmic sex will make people feel ecstatic. But in fact, in life, many women have never enjoyed an orgasm. So, how long does it take for a woman to get an orgasm?

Not everyone can orgasm, and lack of orgasm is very common among women. Chessell found that 10% of 3,705 married British women had never orgasmed.

According to the German Schnabel report, 9% of women never reach orgasm during sexual intercourse, 16% have orgasms only rarely, 19% can reach orgasm sometimes, and the total of the three accounts for 44%.

Lack of orgasm is a manifestation of sexual disharmony. An disharmonious sex life will certainly affect the satisfaction and stability of marriage, and may even lead to divorce. In fact, women should not rush to divorce because of their lack of orgasm. Because, as the famous American anthropologist and futurist Leder pointed out long ago: "Most of women's sexual behavior is learned after birth."

It often takes quite a long time for a woman's orgasmic response to occur. Statistics from Dr. Schnabel and others show that only 19% of women experience their first orgasm within one year after their first intercourse; 15% within two years; 11% within three years; 14% within four to five years; 11% within six to nine years; 9% within ten years or more; and 11% had never experienced an orgasm at the time of the survey. There are also statistics showing that 25% of women have not experienced orgasm within four years of marriage; 15% in the fifth year; and 10% of women still have not experienced orgasm after 20 years of marriage. Some women have never experienced orgasm in their entire lives.

Women who cannot reach orgasm by any method are said to have "primary anorgasmia". It is estimated that the incidence of primary anorgasmia in the United States is approximately 8% to 15%. If a person once had an orgasm but later for some reason no longer has an orgasm, such as discord between the couple or the woman’s illness, it is called “secondary anorgasmia”.

Women's orgasm is extremely susceptible to various conditions. Anything that exists under one condition but not under another is called "situational anorgasmia." For example, some women can have an orgasm at night but not during the day; they can have an orgasm with the lights off but not with them on; they can have an orgasm in this room but not in that room; they can have an orgasm in this position but not in that position; and so on. All belong to this category.

The causes of lack of orgasm include organic factors and psychological factors. Organic factors include various pathological conditions of the vulva, vagina, uterus and its appendages, bladder and urethra, and pelvic cavity, such as inflammation, tumors, trauma, changes in anatomical position, etc., which may cause pain and discomfort during intercourse and thus inhibit the occurrence of orgasm. Spinal cord lesions destroy the pathways of sexual reflexes, so orgasm is of course impossible. Diseases of various systems are detrimental to overall health and interfere with orgasm response to varying degrees. Several drugs also have significant inhibitory effects, especially CNS depressants.

In Chinese society, which has a long feudal tradition, the people clearly lack scientific sex education. Matters between the sexes cannot be discussed openly. Ignorance of sexual knowledge is seen as a sign of female "purity". It is difficult for "educated women" to imagine themselves taking the initiative to achieve orgasm during sex. Many women cannot overcome their shyness and fear and regard sex as a "dirty thing". They only passively fulfill their duties as wives when they have no choice. Of course, there is no question of them having an orgasm.
