Are thinner condoms better?

There are many benefits for men to use condoms - they have a high contraceptive rate and can prevent sexually transmitted diseases to a certain extent, so the usage rate of condoms is increasing. There are many types of condoms, and how to choose is very important. However, when men go to supermarkets and stores to buy condoms, they are always shy to ask the clerk: "Is this size of condom good?" "Is this thickness of condom good?" "Is this scented condom good?" "Is this spiral patterned condom good?" Experts say that most men don't know how to choose the right condom for them. More often, they only look at the brand and price, or choose based on thickness and fragrance. A common phenomenon is that most men like to choose ultra-thin condoms. So, are condoms the thinner the better?

Are thinner condoms better?

According to experts, there are three main types of condoms nowadays: ultra-thin, thin and regular. The thickness of the ultra-thin type is 0.03mm, the thickness of the regular type is 0.04-0.06mm, and the thin type is between the ultra-thin and regular types. The thicker the condom, the less sensitive the male penis will be during sex, and the sexual pleasure will naturally be worse; conversely, the thinner the condom, the more sensitive the penis will be during sex, and the sexual pleasure will naturally be stronger.

No one likes to be caught flat-footed. Many men are not willing to use condoms, but they have to wear condoms to protect their wives from unwanted pregnancies or prevent sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, as a second best option, many men like to use ultra-thin condoms that can easily give them sexual pleasure.

So, are thinner condoms better?

Experts say, no. Normal men can delay ejaculation and make sexual intercourse last longer by wearing condoms of a certain thickness. Therefore, hospital experts recommend that patients with functional premature ejaculation should not choose ultra-thin condoms, but should appropriately choose condoms of a certain thickness, such as thin or ordinary types, which will help control ejaculation, prolong sexual intercourse time, and improve the quality of sexual life. If the premature ejaculation condition still does not improve after a period of time, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.

Tips:

Hospital experts remind all male friends not to blindly pursue "ultra-thin", but to choose according to the actual situation; in addition, the choice of condom size is also a science.

There are three sizes of condoms in my country: large, medium and small, with circumferences of 35mm, 33mm and 31mm respectively. However, most men are not sure which size is suitable for their "baby". Out of face, most men will choose large or medium when buying condoms.

Experts say that condoms that are too large are prone to falling off and leaking semen, greatly reducing the effectiveness of contraception and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. The constant falling off of condoms will also disturb the couple's sexual desire during sex, causing unhappiness for both parties. Condoms that are too small will hinder blood circulation in the penis, causing hypoxia of tissues and nerves in the penis and injury to the corpus cavernosum, which will affect male sexual function over time.

Hospital experts recommend that men should measure the actual circumference of their penis before buying condoms. The method is to hold the penis flat with your hands before erection at room temperature of about 25°C, press one end of a hard ruler against the pubic symphysis, and use the other end of a hard ruler to measure the normal length of the penis based on the external urethral opening of the glans penis. During erection, gently wrap a thin wire around the middle section of the fully erect penis, then measure the length of the thin wire to get the circumference of the penis. Divide the circumference of the penis by 3.14 to get the circumference of the penis. At this time, you can use this result as a reference to buy condoms that are the right size for your "baby".
