Women spend 5 months of their lives worrying about what to wear

Dressing up is a woman’s natural love of beauty, and they are more picky than men. Even when they are most anxious, women will still spend a lot of time worrying about "what to wear today". A recent survey in the UK found that, roughly speaking, it takes a woman about five months to decide what to wear in her lifetime.

The new survey was funded by a professional uniform supplier in the UK and involved 2,000 female respondents. The survey mainly focuses on the time spent on dressing every day. The survey results show that women spend an average of 12 minutes every weekday morning choosing suitable clothes, 10 minutes on weekend mornings, and 27.5 minutes when going out on a date. According to this calculation, it takes more than one hour a week to get dressed, and it takes a total of five months for people aged 18 to 65 to decide what to wear.

The survey found that 54% of the women interviewed said that they began to worry about "what clothes are most suitable to wear" the night before or before getting up on the day, and would prepare clothes. Even so, two-thirds of women admit that they try on multiple outfits before going out. 15% of women returned home to change clothes because they regretted wearing the wrong clothes.

Researchers said: 37% of women said that it takes time because they have to consider whether their clothes are suitable for the occasion, whether the clothes are beautiful, whether they are suitable for the weather that day, etc. The researchers concluded that if uniforms are chosen appropriately, women can reduce some of the troubles caused by choosing clothes.
