What kind of body shape do men desire most in women?

For a long time, a slim waist has been the ideal body shape that many women dream of. Recently, a new study by Scottish scientists found that women with thin waists can attract men's attention in a very short time and have a strong sexual attraction to men.

To assess the relationship between women's waist circumference and sexual attraction and satisfaction, the researchers surveyed more than 700 couples, covering the wives' waist circumference, the frequency of the couple's sexual life, and the assessment of the men's erection level. The results showed that the thinner the wife's waist, the higher the husband's sexual satisfaction and the lower the chance of erectile dysfunction (ED) during sex. For women, the perfect waist-to-hip ratio is 0.7.

Stuart Brodie, professor of psychology at the University of the West of Scotland, who led the new research, said that men only need a split second to judge whether the opposite sex is attractive, and that is the curve of a woman's body, and the waist plays a vital role in this curve. There are three main reasons for the "thin waist effect": first, women with thin waists have abundant estrogen secretion, which makes them look sexier and can give men stronger erections and higher sexual satisfaction; second, studies have shown that women with thin waists have more orgasms and stronger sexual feelings; third, waist circumference is usually an important indicator of women's health. From an evolutionary perspective, women with thin waists have a lower risk of suffering from various diseases such as heart disease, which is beneficial for childbirth and raising offspring.

The study also found that a man with a thick waist will be less attractive, and the larger the waist circumference, the lower the sexual satisfaction.
