Can you eat semen?

Semen is very familiar to adult men, and underage boys and girls should also have a certain understanding of it, because there is relevant introduction in current science and education books. Nowadays, most men and women have become very open-minded, especially in terms of sex, so the number of abortions in hospitals is increasing day by day. Of course, the proportion of unmarried births is also gradually increasing. Sexual intercourse between men and women inevitably involves male semen. Now many people have a question: Can semen be eaten?

To be honest, this is a relatively private topic, and it is bound to be awkward if we discuss it in normal times. But this is also a very controversial question, and the answers we often hear are both sides of the same coin. So. Can men’s semen be eaten? Let’s explain in detail below.

Semen refers to the fluid that is ejected from the urethra by male animals or humans during ejaculation (usually during orgasm). Normal semen is a viscous liquid mixture consisting of sperm and seminal plasma. Sperm are produced in the testicles, mature in the epididymis, and are discharged through the vas deferens. Seminal plasma is mainly a mixture of fluids secreted by accessory glands such as the prostate, seminal vesicles and bulbourethral glands, and also includes a small amount of testicular fluid, epididymal fluid, etc. Normally, sperm and each component of seminal plasma "stay in their place". During ejaculation, sperm and seminal plasma mix to form semen.

Sperm accounts for about 5% of semen, and the rest is seminal plasma. In addition to a large amount of water, fructose, protein and polypeptide, seminal plasma also contains a variety of other sugars (such as glucose), enzymes (such as prostaglandins), inorganic salts and small organic molecules, which are similar to the components of plasma. The carbohydrates (mainly fructose) and proteins in seminal plasma can provide nutrition and energy for sperm. In terms of volume, 90% of seminal plasma comes from secretions of accessory glands, mainly the prostate and seminal vesicles, with a small amount coming from the bulbourethral glands and epididymis.

In fact, semen can be eaten, and eating sperm will not have any adverse reactions to the body. After eating sperm, it will be digested through the digestive system just like normal food and then excreted. Let's compare the composition of milk and sperm. Milk contains protein, fat, and sugar; sperm contains protein, fat, etc. The composition of milk and sperm is similar, but in terms of nutrition for the human body, the value of milk is much higher than that of semen. In terms of function, semen is not a nutrient, but a necessity for reproduction.

Similarly, you will not get pregnant if you eat semen. The sperm will be digested through the digestive system and then excreted. It will not come into contact with the egg, so you will not get pregnant.

Through the above understanding, I believe that most people now have the same answer to the question of whether semen can be eaten, and the answer is affirmative. However, in general, it is best not to eat semen. Regardless of whether it tastes good or not, from a moral point of view, we should not consume semen. When we have nothing to do, we can do more exercise and listen to more music to cultivate our sentiments and develop proper interests and hobbies.
