In the sexual life of both sexes, if they have sex without a condom, they often face the possibility of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Sexual intercourse is one of the ways of transmission of many diseases, and mycoplasma infection is a disease transmitted through sexual intercourse. When one spouse is infected with mycoplasma, the other spouse often faces the possibility of being infected as well. Therefore, it is necessary for the couple to understand the relevant knowledge about mycoplasma inflammation. 1. Mycoplasma infection is a sexually transmitted disease. Mycoplasma can exist in healthy carriers, and the detection rate is higher in promiscuous people, homosexuals, prostitutes, and gonorrhea patients. The more sexual partners one has and the greater the sexual activity index, the higher the infection rate. Under the electron microscope, mycoplasma is flask-shaped or pear-shaped, with a length of 0.6-0.7μm, a width of 0.3-0.4μm near the bottom, and a width of 0.06-0.08μm at the top. There are about 7nm of hairs extending downward from the end. It has no cell wall and is sensitive to drying. The accumulation of its metabolic products is not conducive to its growth and reproduction. Different mycoplasmas have different biological characteristics. 2. Mycoplasma is the smallest known free-living organism and the smallest prokaryotic cell. It is a prokaryotic microorganism that is larger than a virus and smaller than a bacterium. Its most prominent feature is that it has no cell wall. Therefore, the cells are soft, have variable shapes and are highly polymorphic. When observing mycoplasma cells under an electron microscope, it can be seen that they have cell membranes, ribosomes, RNA and circular DNA inside the cells. Mycoplasma is widely found in soil, sewage, insects, vertebrates and human bodies. It is one of the pathogens of animals, plants and humans. 3. Mycoplasma is a type of microscopic pathogen different from bacteria and fungi. There are more than 80 species of Mycoplasma. The mycoplasmas related to humans include Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) and Mycoplasma genitalium (MG). The former causes pneumonia, and the latter three cause urogenital tract infections. 4. After the urogenital tract is infected with mycoplasma, the disease caused is non-gonococcal urethritis in men and non-gonococcal urogenital tract inflammation in women. Male symptoms include urethral itching, burning sensation and difficulty urinating, and a few have frequent urination. The urethral opening is slightly red and swollen, the secretions are thin, and some patients are asymptomatic. Female symptoms include increased vaginal discharge, urethral burning, or pelvic inflammatory disease, salpingitis, etc., which may lead to infertility, miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy. |
